Some things I live by <3
We all have beliefs that guide us, whether we realize it or not. Here are the things I live by:
Let your life be your greatest inspiration. Live fully, every second of it. Pour your heart into everything you do.
What’s something you’ve done recently that you truly poured your heart into?
Never leave words unsaid or actions undone—you’ll regret the things you didn’t do far more than the ones you did.
Is there something you’ve been holding back that you wish you’d said or done?
You are capable of being many things. Don’t feel the need to limit yourself to just one.
Hold on to your dreams, no matter how big or distant they seem. Always believe in yourself, even when it feels impossible.
Choose kindness, every time. Kindness isn’t always the easiest path, but it’s the one that transforms lives—especially your own.
Let your heart and mind work together—they can achieve incredible things when they cooperate.
How often do you trust both your heart and your mind when making decisions?
Forgive, even when you’re not given an apology. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. It frees you from the weight of resentment and opens the door to peace.
Strive to be better than who you were yesterday. Be your sole competition.
Listen before you speak. Understanding comes from silence as much as words.
The right people and the right opportunities will never make you doubt your worth. Trust in that feeling.
Can you remember a time when someone made you feel truly valued?
Everything can and will work out—if you truly want it to. When you desire something deeply enough, you’ll find a way. When you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.
Fear often means you’re on the right track, pushing beyond your comfort zone. Let fear guide you, not stop you.
What’s something that scared you, but you did it anyway? How did it turn out?
Remember, your definition of what’s good or right might not align with someone else’s. That’s okay. Learn to accept and appreciate different perspectives—they will enrich your life in unexpected ways.
You are all the things you love and have loved, even if they’re no longer in your life. The impact remains.
Some things are temporary, but that doesn’t make them less real or meaningful. The length of time something lasts has little to do with how much it matters.
Think of something or someone from your past—how has it shaped who you are today?
You may not realize it, but there are people who think of you every day—people whose lives you’ve touched in ways you’ll never know.
Jealousy will never take you where you want to go. Instead, let others’ success inspire you. Work hard enough to turn the things you admire into your own reality.
How can all the people perfect for you just happen to live near where you were born? Out of more than 8 billion people in the world, love knows no borders, no cultures, no languages.
Do you believe that love transcends all boundaries or do you see some things as limitations?
Before you fall in love with someone else, fall in love with yourself and your life. Cultivate your own happiness.
Smile at the past. Live in the present. By being fully present now, you’ll naturally put in the work needed for your future without even realizing it.
When you take the time to see things from someone else’s perspective, you’ll begin to understand so much more. The world would be a kinder place if people saw beyond themselves.
When was the last time you truly tried to see something from someone else’s point of view?
You still don’t know all the people you’ll meet or how deeply they will impact your life. There’s so much yet to come.
Who you are is shaped by the people you surround yourself with. Choose them wisely.
Never let anyone stop you, especially yourself.
Remember, changing and growing are two very different things. The wrong people will ask you to change; the right people will inspire you to grow.
Admit when you’re wrong—it’s a strength, not a weakness. Say you’re sorry when it’s needed, but only if you mean it.
People will often judge what they don’t understand or what they feel they can’t achieve. Don’t let their opinions hold power over you.
How much of your life are you allowing to be shaped by others' expectations?
Everything begins and ends with you. What controls you is what you allow to control you.
Be the light you’re searching for in the world. You won’t find it anywhere else but within yourself.
Always stay true to yourself. Never lose who you are to fit someone else’s idea of who you should be.
And perhaps the most important of all: Be grateful. Nothing in life is guaranteed.
Lots of love,
Elena
